Many people shared tributes to Dave on LinkedIn, describing him as likeable and a good colleague. He made friends easily. People liked his kindness and humor.

Colleagues also valued his work ethic and intelligence. One person called Dave funny and open, while another remembered him as a sweet soul. They described him as clever and supportive.

Dave used to live in Stalybridge, near Manchester, and worked for Enel X as a sales head in Europe. He attended Cambridge University, and also went to York Sixth Form College.

He studied at Tadcaster Grammar School too. He was found dead at Tadcaster Grammar School on March 25. The coroner ruled his death as suicide; her name is Gillian Kane.
