Coldham: Firefighters have confirmed the cause of a wind turbine fire. The incident happened on March Road around 10am on Sunday, February 2.

Crews from March and Stanground responded quickly. They worked with on-site staff to ensure safety and let the fire burn out safely.

Firefighters left the scene around 1pm but continued to check the area throughout the day. They confirmed the fire was accidental.

A fire service spokesperson said crews found a well-developed fire involving the wind turbine. They made the area safe and monitored it regularly.
