Cambridge: A paedophile named Jason White has been jailed for his actions. He kept trying to groom young girls even after being bailed for earlier offences.

White, 33, first caught attention when a girl’s mother reported him to the police. He had been messaging her daughter online, pretending to be 15.

He asked the girl for inappropriate photos and continued to compliment her. After sending an inappropriate picture, he was arrested but released on bail.

Despite being on bail, he didn’t stop. In December, an online child activist group caught him again. They set up a decoy posing as a 14-year-old girl.

White, using a fake name, initially claimed to be 15. But soon, he admitted he was 33 and asked to meet in Cambridge or Brighton.

He sent another inappropriate picture and was arrested again. The activist group also reported that he had engaged with a decoy posing as a 13-year-old girl.

In court, White pleaded guilty to several charges. He received a 23-month sentence and was placed on the Sex Offenders Register for 10 years.

Authorities emphasized the importance of online safety. They want to ensure that abusers face justice and that children are protected.
