A man has been sentenced to over two years in prison for violently attacking his partner on Boxing Day, leaving her in fear and distress.
Huntingdon: A man was jailed for over two years after a violent attack on his partner. Adrian Fox, 48, assaulted her at their home on Boxing Day.
The incident started with an argument in the morning. By evening, things escalated. Fox strangled her while she sat on the sofa, then slapped and headbutted her.
She begged him to call for help, but he refused. Instead, she hid in the bathroom. A neighbor heard the commotion and called the police. They found Fox hiding in a nearby caravan.
Fox pleaded guilty to intentional strangulation and actual bodily harm. He was sentenced to two years and one month in prison.
