A man was arrested after punching a woman who asked him to leave a pub. He now faces serious consequences for his actions.

The police didn’t take long to catch up with him. He faced charges for assault, criminal damage, and even obstructing an officer. He didn’t help himself by refusing a breath test too.
In court, he admitted to everything. Now, he’s banned from driving for 17 months. Plus, he has to do some community service and stay off the booze for 60 days. He also has to pay compensation to the woman he hit and the officer who arrested him.
The investigating officer, PC Emma Smith, said he had plenty of chances to leave peacefully. No one should feel scared at work, right? It’s just a shame it had to come to this.
