Now, they’re looking at ways to cut costs instead. The running costs are around £120,000 a year. They plan to install a pool cover to save on energy. They’ll also review fees and improve food options.
The council is working on attracting grants to help with expenses. They’re keen to collaborate with the Friends of the Lido group for more ideas. The goal is to get the Lido as close to breaking even as possible.
