Farcet: On Sunday evening, firefighters rushed to a barn fire in a Cambridgeshire village. The alarm went off just after 8 PM. Crews from Peterborough and nearby areas quickly arrived at the scene. They used hoses and other gear to tackle the flames.

Social media was buzzing with photos showing the fire and smoke. It seems the fire might have been set on purpose. A spokesperson from the Peterborough Volunteer Fire Brigade shared that they worked hard to stop the fire from spreading to nearby equipment and plants.

They spent about five hours on the scene, making sure everything was under control. The barn was packed with straw, which was crucial for feeding the horses on the farm. That straw was their food supply for the entire year!

Another spokesperson from the fire service confirmed that the firefighters returned to their stations by 1:15 AM. They believe the fire was deliberately started. If anyone has information, they should reach out to the police or Crimestoppers.
