Arm is set to expand in Cambridge by leasing new office space at Peterhouse Technology Park, enhancing its commitment to innovation and technology.
Cambridge: Arm is growing its presence in the city. The company has signed a lease for new office and lab space at Peterhouse Technology Park. This new building is called The Optic.
The Optic will be ready by February 2025. It’s fully electric and features 94 EV charging points, solar panels, and a roof terrace. This makes it a modern and eco-friendly space.
Arm already occupies all six buildings at the park. With over 30 years in the industry, they design and license chip technology for phones, game consoles, and more.
Michael Wiseman from British Land highlighted Arm’s importance. He noted that their expansion shows the strength of the tech ecosystem in Cambridge and the demand for high-quality office spaces.
He also mentioned that the UK, especially the Golden Triangle, is perfect for top innovation firms like Arm. The area has excellent academic institutions and a skilled workforce.
