Chester: A man named John Moore has been banned from the city centre for five years. This decision came after he received a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) at Crewe Magistrates’ Court.

The Chester Beat Team requested the CBO. It stops Moore from entering the city centre until January 2030. He also can’t be drunk in public places across England and Wales.

If he breaks these rules, he could face fines or even jail time. Inspector James Wilson mentioned that Moore had confronted council officers while they were doing their job. He threatened them and used homophobic slurs.

This kind of behavior is not acceptable. Moore has a history of causing trouble in Chester. The hope is that this order will prevent him from acting out again. If he’s spotted in the city centre before 2030, he could face serious consequences.
