Fly-tipped cannabis waste was found across Cambridgeshire. Council officers seek public help in identifying the responsible parties.
The waste was near Witchford and Witcham. Folks found it at Sedgeway, New Road, and Gravel Drove. It was also at Witcham Bridge Drove. Dead plants and fertilizer packaging were in the dumps.
One illegal dump blocked Sedgeway road completely. Other dumps hid in ditches. This can cause flooding in the fenland.
An officer checked the waste for clues. Fly-tipping numbers fell since 2018, but cannabis waste dumps are now bigger and becoming more common.
